PLUGGING IN THE AC ADAPTER
The Rukus XL comes equipped with an AC adapter. Plug the AC adapter into the right socket
labeled DC located under the rubber plug on the side of the Rukus XL. Plug the other end into an
AC socket. With the AC adapter plugged in, the Rukus XL starts charging its Li-ion battery and is
ready to play.
CONNECTING YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE

Press and HOLD the ON/OFF Power button for 3 seconds (until you hear the beep).
CHARGING A SMARTPHONE OR OTHER USB DEVICE THROUGH USB PORT
The smartphone or USB device starts charging once it is inserted into the USB port. When the
Rukus XL's POWER is OFF it can still charge your device. Please be advised that leaving your
device after it has received a full charge from the Rukus XL, if <charge> is still set 'ON' , it will
continue to drain the Rukus XL's internal battery.
