Description

Long-reach chain saws are hydraulically powered
cutting tools intended for general tree trimming from the
ground or from an aerial device.
Greenlee 's patented Super Spool™ design allows the
tool to be used with either open-center or closed-center
hydraulic systems. The dielectric properties of the fiber-
glass pole reduce the chance of electric shock when
the saw is used near energized electrical lines. Other
features include an anti-kickback chain, a fully covered
sprocket guard, a hand-stop safety collar, a trigger inter-
lock and a trigger guard.
Super Spool is protected by U.S. Patent No. 4,548,229.
