Insulators are included in the installation
accessories BAM TO-ML-014-01 (see
page 18).
With increased EMC requirements, the sensor head can
be assembled in a way to insulate it completely from the
machine using two insulators.
► Insert the two insulators into the 4.3 mm holes on the
sensor head to the left and right.

Assembling the sensor head

The sensor head can be installed with or without
insulators. For the selection of screws, torques, etc., see
Tab. 4-2.
Screws and washers are included in the
installation accessories BAM TO-ML-014-01
(see page 18).

1. Provide for threaded holes on the machine part, see
Tab. 4-2.
2. Optionally: insert insulators (see sec. 4.2.2)
3. Fasten the right or left side of the sensor head to the
machine part (see Fig. 3-1 on page 7 and Fig. 4-4
or Fig. 4-5) taking into account the distances and
tolerances (see Fig. 4-1 on page 8).
4. Secure the screws against unintended loosening (e.g.
with locking paint).
