Safety
• Suitable for outdoor usage.
• Read this manual carefully before usage.
• Ensure voltage shown on the label match to the mains supply voltage.
• The plug may only be connected to an earthed wall socket. Ensure that water cannot
reach the socket (A).
• Do not submerge the ballast into the water, it's best to install the ballast in a dry place
(not on the ground). Make sure the ballast doesn't get wet (A).
• Always dry your hand before doing any jobs on the LED lamp.
• Only plug into mains after the LED Tube is firmly mounted.
• The Pond Multi LED can be installed in the garden or pond. For pond usage the
maximum depth is 1 meter (B).
• Unplug or switch off all appliances in the pond before carrying out maintenance.
• The LED unit can get warm, allow adequate time to cool down attempting any
maintenance.
• If overpowered the ballast can be replaced, buy a replacement ballast at your dealer.
• In the event of damage to the LED, cord or plug, do not use the unit and return the
unit to your dealer for repair or recycling.
• Cracking of the glass is not covered by the guarantee; it is not possible to repair
cracked glass!
• If the LED tube falls into the water, first unplug it and then retrieve it by using the cable
to lift the unit out of the water.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children may not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without
supervision.
Installation
• The Pond Multi LED can be used outside in the garden or underwater in your pond.
• When installed in the pond, the performance (working distance) of the remote control
depends on the installation and clarity of the pond water. For a proper operation,
install the Pond Multi LED tube not deeper than 25 cm underwater (B).
• When the Pond Multi LED is installed e.g. under a pond bridge, the receiver (in the tube
at the side of the cable) must be visible for the remote control.
• The supplied clips can be attached with screws or glue (not included), after which the
tube can be snapped into place (C).
Operation
• The top button of the remote control turns the light on, enables you to increase the
brightness of the light in 4 steps and turns the light off again (D).
• With the other button you can choose 6 different colours (blue, green, yellow, orange,
red and white) and demo (D). The demo mode shows the different colours one by one.
In the demo mode you can not control the brightness.
Maintenance
• Regular cleaning with a moist cloth will improve life time and light output.
• The LED lamp have a minimum life time of 30.000 burning hours.
• The LED lamps can not be replaced, once the LED lamps stop burning the whole unit
needs to be replaced.
