Performance under Warranty
1. For this equipment the Company, ELMEG GmbH & Co.KG, gives a warranty of 24
months in accordance with the following regulations, counted as starting from the date
of the purchase of the dealer, which can be proved by original invoice or other bill.
2. The requirements for the warranty concern the specialist dealer being recognised ac-
cording to whom the equipment was bought from.
3. The warranty covers the loss of, or lack of all the equipment within the guarantee peri-
od due to wear damage or, which can be proved, based on faulty material or crafts-
manship. Not under the warranty, damage or defect not in accordance with regulations,
(conforming to specification), in connection with inappropriate handling, disregard of the
programming, instructions for use, use of excessive force. It is at manufacturer's discre-
tion to repair or replace and also to convert to equivalent equipment. Large require-
ments for compensation do not exist.
4. The warranty does not cover those deficiencies which impair the value or the adequa-
costs, e.g. for installation, road
cy of the equipment only insignificantly. Procedure
time and travel, are expressly excluded.
5. This manufacturers warranty is not valid, if changes were made to a product or the
product is operated in a country for which it was not developed and was not manufac-
tured.
6. The warranting presupposes the fact that the equipment is sent packed (where possi-
ble, in the original packing), protected against breakage and shockproofed, with war-
ranty verification. The dispatch made with risks and costs borne by the customer.
7. If the examination results in that no warrantied defect is present or the product is error
free, then the repair and inspection costs are against the customer.
8. Warranting causes neither an extension of the warranty term nor sets a new warranty
term in course. The warranty term for inserted spare parts ends with the warranty term
of the equipment.
