ISTRUZIONI PER L'APPLICAZIONE
Prima di applicare il tutore, leggere interamente e attentamente le presenti istruzioni.
La corretta applicazione è di fondamentale importanza per l'adeguato funzionamento del
tutore.
INDICAZIONI: Distorsioni della caviglia Lesioni del tessuto molle dell'arto inferiore

Fratture da sforzo dell'arto inferiore e della caviglia Fratture permanenti del piede e della
● ●
caviglia Fratture permanenti composte o scomposte della tibia e fibula distali
●
del tendine d'Achille
CONTROINDICAZIONI: l'applicazione di questo tutore è consigliata unicamente nel caso
in cui sia documentato che la frattura è permanente e sussistono limiti accettabili di deformità
angolare e rotatoria. Il momento di applicazione del tutore rimane strettamente a discrezione
del medico curante.
A
Per la prima applicazione, allentare gli strap ed estrarre l'imbottitura interna dallo stivale.
B
Infilare il piede nell'imbottitura, in modo che
la parte posteriore di quest'ultima risulti
aderente al tallone. Fissare e avvolgere le fasce
del piede, quindi la parte dell'imbottitura
relativa alla gamba. L'imbottitura deve essere
aderente per tutta la sua lunghezza, ma non
impedire la circolazione (Fig. 1)

Aprire i montanti con entrambe le
mani e calzare lo stivale, allineando
i montanti con l'asse centrale della
caviglia. (Fig. 2)
D
Fissare gli strap dello stivale, partendo
dalla punta del piede e risalendo lungo
la gamba. (Fig. 3)
*Si noti che le linguette della parte ante-
riore del piede possono essere asportate, se
lo si desidera. Le linguette possono essere
sostituite semplicemente facendole scattare
all'interno dei fori degli occhielli posti sulla
parte anteriore del piede.
USO E MANUTENZIONE
• Lavare le imbottiture interne a mano in acqua fredda con sapone neutro. Risciacquare
accuratamente. ASCIUGARE ALL'ARIA. Nota: se non risciacquato perfettamente, i resi-
dui di sapone potrebbero provocare irritazioni cutanee o danneggiare il materiale.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before applying the brace, please read these instructions completely and carefully.
Correct application is vital to the proper functioning of the brace.
INDICATIONS: Acute ankle sprains Soft tissue injuries of the lower leg

the lower leg and ankle Stable fractures of the foot and ankle
●
non-union fractures of the distal tibia and fibula Achilles tendon repairs
●
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Application of this device is recommended only when the fracture
is demonstrably stable and there are acceptable limits of angular and rotational deformity. The
determination of when to apply the brace rests strictly at the discretion of the treating physician.

For first time application, loosen straps and remove liner from boot.
B
Place foot in liner, the heel should fit
snugly into the posterior portion of the
liner. Fasten and wrap foot flaps then the
leg portion of the liner. Liner should be
snug from top to bottom but should not
constrict (Fig. 1)
C
Spread uprights using both hands
and step into boot, aligning uprights
with midline of the ankle. (Fig. 2)

Secure boot straps, starting with the
toes and working up the leg. (Fig. 3)
*Please note that forefoot tabs
can be removed if preferred. Tabs
may be replaced by simply snap-
ing back into the forefoot eyelet
holes.
USE AND CARE
• Hand wash liners in cold water using mild soap, rinse thoroughly. AIR DRY. Note: If not
rinsed thoroughly, residual soap may cause irritation and deteriorate material.
