e) Answering a call
• If you are being called, the hands-free equipment emits a ringing tone via the integrated loudspeaker (1).
• To answer the call, press the key "
• To reject the call, press and hold the "
f) Making a call
• If you want to make a call, you can use your mobile phone as usual. During the call, the LED (3) fl ashes
on the hands-free equipment.
g) Ending the call
• To end the current call, press the "
h) Redialling
• If you press and hold the "+" key (4) for 2 seconds, the mobile phone dials the last called number again.
This requires you to enable the redialling function in your mobile phone.
i) Selecting the telephone number via voice input
This is only possible if your mobile phone features this function. Please consult the operating
instructions for your telephone.
• Briefl y press the "
" key (6) and say the name of the person to be called.
• The mobile telephone dials the number of the person saved in the phone.
g) Adjusting the volume
• During a call you can adjust the volume of the audio playback via the loudspeaker using the "+" (4) and
"-" (5) keys.
"+" = Increases the volume
"-" = Decreases the volume
k) Muting the microphone
• While making a call, you can mute the microphone by pressing the mute key (2) located on the lateral edge
and holding it for 2 seconds.
• Disable the mute function by pressing the mute key (2) again for 2 seconds.
Fuse replacement of the cigarette lighter adapter
The cigarette lighter adapter has an built-in fuse. If the latter is triggered (e.g. due to a short-circuit on the
USB plug), you can replace it as follows:
• Turn the plastic knurled screw counter-clockwise until you can remove the front part with the contact pin
• Remove the fuse and replace it by a new one of the same type and design (micro fuse 5 x 20 mm, 250 V,
F 1 A, swift triggering feature).
• Replace the front part with the contact pin and turn the plastic knurled screw in clockwise direction.
A defective fuse may not be bridged. Never use a fuse with a higher current or other triggering
features. This may cause a fi re!
Cleaning
To clean the hands-free equipment, a dry, soft and clean cloth is suffi cient. Do not apply too much pressure, it
can scratch the product. Do not use any aggressive detergent as this might cause discolouration.
Dust can be removed easily using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Disposal
a) General instructions
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regulations.
Remove the rechargeable battery inserted and dispose of it separately from the product. Cover
the battery contacts with a strip of insulating tape to avoid short-circuits.
b) Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechargeable bat-
teries; disposal of them in the household waste is prohibited!
Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with these symbols to indicate that
disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are:
Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead.
Used batteries, rechargeable batteries as well as coin cells can be returned to collection points in your
municipality, our stores or wherever batteries/rechargeable batteries/coin cells are sold.
You therefore fulfi l your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
