Š Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
Š Do not leave the appliance out in the rain or exposed
to moisture. If water gets into the appliance, this will
increase the risk of electric shock.
Š Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
Š Take the necessary measures to avoid starting the
appliance involuntarily.
Š Before using the appliance ensure that the blade is
properly fixed in place.
Š Do not touch any of the appliance's moving parts while
it is operating.
Š Exercise precaution after employing the stop operation
on the appliance as the blade/s will continue moving
from the effect of its own mechanical inertia.
Use and care:
Š Fully unroll the appliance's power cable before each use.
Š Do not use the appliance if its accessories are not
properly fitted.
Š Do not use the appliance if the accessories attached to it
are defective. Replace them immediately.
Š Do not use the appliance if the on/off switch does not work.
Š Do not move the appliance while in use.
Š Do not turn the appliance over while it is in use or
connected to the mains.
Š This appliance is for household use only, not profession-
al, industrial use.
Š Store this appliance out of reach of children and/or
persons with physical, sensory or reduced mental or lack
of experience and knowledge.
Š Keep the appliance in good condition. Check that the
moving parts are not misaligned or jammed and make
sure there are no broken parts or anomalies that may
prevent the appliance from operating correctly.
Š Do not use the appliance for more than 30 seconds at
any one time.
Š Do not use the appliance with frozen goods or those
containing bones.
Service:
Š Make sure that the appliance is serviced only by special-
ist personnel, and that only original spare parts or acces-
sories are used to replace existing parts/accessories.
Š Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use
renders the guarantee and the manufacturer's liability
null and void.

Instructions for use
Before use:
Š Make sure that all products' packaging has been
removed.
Š Before using the product for the first time, clean the
parts that will come into contact with food in the manner
described in the cleaning section.
Š Some parts of the appliance have been lightly greased.
Consequently, the first time the appliance is used a light
smoke may be detected. After a short time, this smoke
will disappear.
Use:
Š Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in.
Š Remove the protective cover.
Š Fill with coffee beans.
Š Put on the protective cover.
Š Connect the appliance to the mains.
Š Turn the appliance on, by using the on/off button.
Š View the consistency of coffee ground from the trans-
parent cover.
Š If you want to remove the cover to check the consistency
of the coffee grounds, it must be noted never remove the
cover until blades comes to a complete stop.
Once you have finished using the appli-
ance:
Š Stop the appliance by releasing the pressure on the on/
off button.
Š Unplug the appliance from the mains.
Š Put the cable back in the cable housing.
Š Clean the appliance.
Cable compartment
Š This appliance has a cable compartment situated on its
underside (Fig.1).

Grinding tips:

Š For the freshest, most flavour coffee; grind only enough
for the pot you are making.
Š Coffee grounds left in your grinder can become stale
and affect the flavour of freshly ground coffee. Be sure
to clean grinding chamber, blades and cover after each
uses.
Š The grinder can only grind dry, brittle foods. It will not
grind anything moist, extremely hard, or gummy such as
whole gingers, chocolate or oily spices.
