OPERATION
LED lights
Yellow LED (SLEEP)
Dial
The LEDs indicate the station's different working
modes.
1. The station without a tool connected or
with a soldering iron touching the cartridge
extractor: The green light IN USE flashes with the
sequence
.
In this case, no power is supplied to the soldering
iron.
2. Tool out of the support: The green light IN
USE is permanently lit, indicating that the
soldering iron tip is at working temperature.

3. Tool in the support (sleep mode): The yellow
light SLEEP is permanently lit.
So that a tool goes into sleep mode, apart from
being placed in its support, the programmed
sleep temperature needs to be less than the
temperature on the dial or the prefixed
temperature.
4. The tool is out of the support for more than
5 minutes: The yellow SLEEP light flashes with
the sequence
replacement in the support.
5. Station with previously fixed temperature.
(Only for users of the AC 2600 console ref.
2600000).
Soldering iron out of support:
- If the dial is above the prefixed temperature,
the green light IN USE is lit the majority of the
time, switching off briefly at regular intervals.
- If the dial is below the prefixed temperature,
the green light IN USE is not lit the majority of the
time, lighting up briefly at regular intervals.
- If the dial is at the prefixed temperature, the
green light is permanently lit.
6. Temperature tool increase at the top end of
the scale. (Only for users of the AC 2600 console
ref. 2600000).
The console allows us to increase in a maximum
of 50ºC or 100º F the temperature of the tool
when the dial is placed at the top end of the scale
and it is shown with a quick flash of the led IN
USE.
ERRORS
When the handpiece or the cartridge is in an open
circuit, the green light IN USE flashes with the
sequence
.
When the handpiece or the cartridge is in a short
circuit, the green light IN USE flashes with the
sequence
If any of the above mentioned causes is corrected,
the station will start working automatically.
When there is has been an excess of power
supplied, for example with very thick and
repetitive solders, the green and yellow lights will
flash simultaneously. To correct this error, the
station should be turned off to avoid overheating.
When the temperature lowers, turn the station on
again.
