CONSTANT SPEED UNLOADING
INSTRUCTIONS FOR HEAD
UNLOADERS (MODEL HUK-501)
NOTE: This is optional equipment
and is not included on unit. The
purpose of constant speed unloading
is to provide a means of stopping or
starting the electric motor or gasoline
engine after each cycle. To
accomplish this, an air pilot valve is

pilot valve senses storage tank
pressure, and when the pressure is
raised to a pre-determined setting,
this air is released to an intake valve
hold-open mechanism. The
compressor stops compressing air
and runs free until the pilot valve
senses that the pressure in the tank
has dropped to

TYPICAL
MANIFOLD
ASSEMBLY
When installing head unloader
manifold assembly,be certain that the actuating claw
(Ref. No. 6), protrudes 1/16" below the bottom of the
manifold (Ref. No. 1), as shown. Claw must be
positioned so that it will enter two slots in the
compressor valve. Failure to follow this procedure
will result in an inoperative head unloader.
