Sockets, bits and adapters not made for power tools can break when used with power tools. Sockets, bits and adapters not made for
impact drivers can break when used with impact drivers.
Proper eye protection must be worn at all times by tool user and bystanders. Use only impact sockets, bits and adapters that are
in good condition. Keep hands away from sockets, bits and adapters. Failure of the workpiece, sockets or bits can cause high
velocity projectiles. Ensure that the workpiece is securely fixed.
Broken sockets, bits and adapters can cause injury.
Power tools generate noise.
Ear protection must be worn when tool noise level exceeds 85 dBA. We also recommend that ear protection be worn when the
tool noise level is below 85 dBA. See the tool's information sheet for the noise level. High noise levels can cause hearing damage.
Damping may help keep workpiece from ringing. Keep the socket maintained to prevent an increase in noise and vibration.
Replace the socket to prevent an increase in noise. Ensure that the impact driver's muffler is still installed.
Prolonged exposure to noise can cause hearing loss.
Power tools vibrate.
Excessive vibration can cause injury. If numbness, tingling, pain or whitening of the skin occurs, stop using tool and consult a
physician. See the tool's information sheet for the vibration level. Wear warm clothing when working in cold conditions. Keep
your hands warm and dry. Maintain the impact driver as recommended to prevent an increase in vibration levels. Do not use
worn or ill-fitting sockets or extensions, as this is likely to cause a substantial increase in vibration levels. Support the tool in a
stand, tensioner or balancer if possible. Do not hold the tool too tightly. Sleeve fittings should be used where practicable. Keep
the hands away from the sockets, extensions and rotation components.
Prolonged exposure to vibration can cause injury.
Worn, chipped, or cracked sockets, bits, and adapters can break.

Keep loose hair away from power tools and accessories. Keep hands away from moving parts of the tool and accessories. Do not
wear jewelry, loose clothing, or neckwear around power tools. Keep work area clear of cleaning rags and all items that could become
entangled with the tool. Entanglement hazards can result in choking, scalping and lacerations if loose clothing, jewelry, neck wear,
hair or gloves are not kept away from tool. Gloves can become entangled with the rotating drive, causing broken or severed fingers.
Rotating drive sockets an drive extensions can easily entangle rubber-coated or metal-reinforced gloves. Do not wear loose fitting
gloves with cut or frayed fingers. Never hold the drive, socket or drive extension. Keep hands away from rotating drive.
Entanglements can cause injuries.
Driving screws creates dust.
Use respiratory protection. Dust and fumes generated by the impact driver can cause ill health. Consider both dust created
by the tool and existing dust disturbed by the tool exhaust. Direct the impact driver's exhaust to minimize disturbance of dust.
Control dust at the point of emission. All integral features or accessories for the collection, extraction, or suppression of dust
and fumes should be maintained.
Breathing dust created when driving screws can cause injury.
This tool is not insulated for contact with electric power sources.
Do not use near live electric circuits. When driving screws into walls, be aware that they may have hidden electric wires.
Electric shock can cause injury.
This tool is not intended for use in a flammable or explosive atmosphere.
Do not use this tool in a flammable or explosive atmosphere.
Explosions and fire can cause injury.
