® NRG system components may only be installed, commissioned and maintained
by qualified electricians.
• Personnel who install, program, operate or maintain this device must have read and
understood these instructions.
• The relevant standards, guidelines, regulations, and provisions of the respective country
must be observed.
• Protective measures and mechanisms must correspond to applicable regulations.
• Damaged products may neither be installed nor operated.
• In case of a defect, please return the component to Wieland Electric.
• Never use components from third-party manufacturers. No guarantee shall be offered for
damage resulting from a combination with third-party components.
• Please keep these instructions in a safe place for later reference.
• Use only the original tool.
• Only use the crimping tool and cable end sleeve (with sleeve length 12 mm) from Wieland
Electric.

The supplied components and cables may
neither be changed nor modified.

Mounting
1.
Place the flat cable in a suitable cable
routing system. Make sure the placement
direction matches the outlet direction of
the adapter.
2.
Insert the flat cable and closing strip up to
the stop in the coded outlet adapter. The
closing strip must be inserted flush.
3.
Screw the closing strip to the outlet
adapter using the supplied screws (tight-
ening torque: 0.8 Nm).
6.
Place the wires in the indicated
terminal points and tighten the con-
necting screws (0.8 Nm).

4.
Tighten the screws for the flat cable
contact one at a time (1.0 Nm).
5.
Prepare the round cable; to do so, strip the
outlet cable (65 mm) and remove the insu-
lation (12 mm).
7.
Place the strain relief on top and screw
into place (0.6 ... 0.8 Nm).

Place the cover on top and fix it in place with an audible click. If this is not possible, not
all screws have been screwed in as far as the stop on the flat cable contact.
9.
To secure the adapter to the cable routing system,
use cable ties in the channels provided.

Demounting
1.
Insert a screwdriver into the opening
on the upper side of the cover and
press backwards.
2.
Pull the cover upwards.
4.
Open the connecting screws and remove
the wires one at a time.

Unscrew the screws from the
strain relief and remove the
strain relief.

Unscrew the screws for the flat
cable contact and the closing
strip.

Remove the closing strip and flat
