Charging the trimmer
Plug the mains adaptor into the socket and the mains adaptor's
connecting plug into the trimmer (Figure B).
If you have purchased a trimmer with charging station, you can also
charge the trimmer on the charging station. The mains adaptor's
connecting plug must be inserted into the charging station so that
the contact surfaces are pointing downwards (Figure C). Place the
machine in the charging station to charge as shown in Figure D.

Initial start-up

The trimmer must first be charged as described in the Charging
process section.
Operation (Figure E)
1. Press the on/off switch
to turn the trimmer on and off.
2. A preset cutting length is provided when you use the comb
attachment (special accessories).
Cleaning and maintenance
The cutter head must be regularly cleaned and oiled in the appropri-
ate places to ensure that it works properly.
If you do not clean and oil the cutter head regularly this leads to wear
on the cutter head and motor.
Cleaning the cutter head (Figure F)
The cutter head should be thoroughly cleaned once a day if used
regularly.
1. Switch the trimmer off.
2. Carefully remove the hairs on the cutter head using the cleaning
brush.
3. It is recommended that the cutter head is removed regularly to
so that the rest of the hair can be removed from inside.
a. For this, remove the screw using the Allen key and take off
the cutter head.
b. Push the upper and lower blades slightly apart and also re-
move the hairs between the putting plates on all sides using
the cleaning brush.
c. Remove any possible remaining hairs from inside.
4. To attach the cutter head hook it in underneath first of all and
then attach it again using the Allen key.
