Stop valve in front of or below the check
valve is not fully opened
Valve cone jams in the guide
Not sealing properly in the prepressure
section
Sealing surfaces soiled or worn
The check valve is over-dimensioned

Remedy
Open shut-off valves
Replace the valve cone
Replace the valve cone and the lip
sealing ring
Clean the sealing elements, replace if
necessary
Call Technical Customer Service
