Gear Change
With the selector
desired speed can be selected.
1 = LOW SPEED: for screw driving, drilling large
diameters and for tapping threads
2 = HIGH SPEED: for drilling
The speed can be changed while tool is running under
no-load. It is recommended to change the speed when
the tool has completely stopped.
Hammer Selection
PSB9, PSB9D
Hammer mode is selected by switching the selector
to the symbol corresponding to the user's choice
(hammer, or drilling).
All changes to the selection must be carried out after the
power tool has completely stopped.
The impact drilling has to be set on right hand rotation
when impact drilling.
Assembly and removal of tools
Keyless chuck
Lock the drill spindle by pressing the button
chuck sleeve firmly by hand and turn it for so long that
the chuck opening is big enough to insert a tool. Insert
the tool and fix it into the chuck by turning the sleeve in
the reverse direction. For removing the tool, lock the drill
spindle by pressing the button
in the opposite direction than in the assembly procedure.
Self-tightening drill chuck
Self-tightening drill chuck tightens itself additionally under
load, and thus prevents the tool from slipping. Lock the
drill spindle by pressing the button

Chuck is tightened with high torque. In case of chuck

centre for repair.
