BEFORE FIRST USE
WARNING: Carefully unpack your hand blender set as the blades are very sharp.
Wash all parts except the Motor Unit, Blending Leg, Chopping Bowl Blending Lid, Whisk Gearbox, Potato
Masher Gearbox, in warm soapy water before use. Rinse and dry all parts thoroughly before use.
Do not fully submerge the Blending Leg in water. Wash only the blade head.
Wipe the Motor Unit, Blending Leg, Chopping Bowl Blending Lid and Gearboxes with a damp cloth. Do
not immerse them in water.
USING YOUR BLENDING ATTACHMENT
The blending attahment is suitable for mixing and puréeing all kinds of foods, including soups, sauces, baby
food and blended drinks like milkshakes or smoothies.
1.
Attach the blending leg to the motor unit and turn to lock into place.
2.
Plug in the motor unit.
3.
Place the blending leg into the ingredients to be blended. It is recommeded to use the supplied beaker
for the best results.
4.
Select the speed by turning the variable speed control dial.
5.
Press and hold the on/off button to start blending.
• You can start slowly to prevent splashing and smoothly speed up till you reach the required speed.
• You can press the turbo button to run the appliance at high speed for intermittent bursts.

When blending, insert the blending leg into the ingredients. Gently rotate the blending leg, lifting it
up and down in the ingredients. Continue this movement until the mixture has reached the desired
consistency.
• Do not lift the blending leg out of the mixture completely when running, as splashing may occur.
• WARNING: NEVER blend hot oil or fat.
7.
When you have finished blending, release the on/off button to stop.
• Allow the blades to slow and stop BEFORE removing the blending leg from the ingredients.
8.
Unplug the motor unit from the mains socket.

WARNING: The continuous operating time must be less than 60 seconds and then allow it
to cool down for at least 2 minutes between cycles. After operating 5 cycles continuously,
the appliance must cool down to the room temperature before restarting.
Wipe the motor base with a slightly damp cloth.
Do not immerse the motor base or power cord in water.
