TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOM
Compressor runs continuously

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Petcock is open
Prolonged or excessive use of air

Loose electrical connections
Extension cord not correct
Low voltage
Overheated motor
Check valve is stuck open
Pressure bleeder valve on pressure

SOLUTION
Close petcock
Decrease air demand
Check the air requirement of air tool.
Remove and clean, or replace
Check and replace if necessary
Replace tank immediately! Do not attempt
to repair!
Replace
Close petcock
Check fittings with soapy water. Tighten or
re-seal fittings. Do not over-tighten
Check for cause & replace or reset
Check wiring connections
Max. 50 ft (15 m) min. 14 ga
Consult electrician
Use reset button or wait for auto reset
Remove and clean or replace
Move switch to Off and then restart
