MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar
D 2 Side Arm
E 4 M12 x 30 x 1.25 Bolts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (30 O.D)
F 4 M10 x 30 x 1.5 Bolts, 2 off Nuts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (25 O.D)
ZE 1 Electrical Plate (ZEP2)
ZP 1 Safety Chain Bracket (ZSCP5)
CB 2 M16 x 40 x 2.0 Bolts. Note: When fitting ZF neck option replace M16 x 50 bolts from neck kit with M16 x 40 bolts
Supplied with main assembly.
For use with either
HY56 Flange neck option – ZFB2030. Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or
Class A50-1 or A50-X towball, which dimensionally conforms to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the
towbar HY56QF Detachable neck option – ZQF2030. Please refer to ZQF fitting instructions for installation
HY56Q Detachable neck option – ZQ2030. Please refer to ZQ fitting instructions for installation
HY56S Swan neck option – ZQ2030. Please refer to ZS fitting instructions for installation
FITTING
1. Remove 4 plastic push clips in lower edge of bumper (Note: Bumper is not removed). Fit electrics before towbar, as
access is limited when crossbar is in position.
2. Loosely attach side-arms (D), to existing captive nuts in outer face of chassis.
3. Insert crossbar (A) inside bumper (taking care not to damage paint work) and attach to side-arms (D) using fixings (E).
4. Attach Neck option (ZQ), Electrical Plate (ZE) and Safety Chain Bracket (ZP) as per separate instruction. Fully tighten all
Fixings and re-fit bottom edge of bumper.
Note:
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
Grade 10.9: M12 – 139Nm, M10 – 78Nm
