User instructions
t
Please read through these user instructions carefully before using the product. They contain important information on the
safe use of the product. Failure to follow these instructions may lead to serious risks. Always keep these user instructions
with the child's booster cushion and pass them on to other users or future owners of the child's booster cushion. If you have
any questions, please contact the manufacturer.

1. General information

1.1. This child's booster cushion has been inspected according to ECE Regulation 44.04 and is suitable for use in most but
not all vehicles. Please check in the manufacturer's manual of your vehicle if it is suitable for the use of a universal
child's seat of this group (II and III).
1.2. This child's booster cushion is suitable for children of standard groups II and III (15-36 kg) and only for use in vehicles
equipped with three-point belts that have been approved to ECE Regulation no. 16 or other comparable standards.
1.3. It is forbidden to make any changes to child restraint systems. Any changes to the child's booster cushion may adver-
sely affect its functions and safety characteristics. In the event of failure to follow these regulations, the manufacturer
accepts no liability or responsibility.
1.4. The cover of the child's booster cushion is a part of the restraint function. So the child's booster cushion may not be
used without its cover. Nor may the cover be replaced by one other than that recommended by the manufacturer.
1.5. Never leave your child unattended in the child's seat/vehicle.
1.6. Luggage and other items must be appropriately stored and secured in the vehicle so that they cannot injure your child or
any other passengers in the vehicle in the event of an accident.
1.7. Check the child's booster cushion for damage every time before using it. If the child's booster cushion is damaged, it
must no longer be used.
1.8. In order to avoid burns, always make sure that the child's booster cushion has not been made very hot by the sun's heat
before you place your child on it.
1.9. After an accident the entire child restraint system must be replaced by a new one!

2. Installing the child's booster cushion and securing the child

2.1. The child's booster cushion may be used on the front passenger seat or the back
seats of the vehicle if they are equipped with three-point belts. We recommend
using it on the back seats. The child's booster cushion may not be used on the
middle back seat with only a lap belt. The child's booster cushion may only be
used in the direction of travel.
2.2. Place the child's booster cushion on the vehicle seat in such a way that it is fully
back against the seat back. Once the child has been placed on the child's booster
cushion, the child's booster cushion must still be resting on the vehicle's seat
back. Make sure that all parts of the child's booster cushion are placed in such
a way that that they do not get lost or trapped in doors or between adjustable
seats. The position of the child's booster cushion must be checked before the
start of every trip and if it has moved out of place it must be adjusted.
2.3. Then the child is to be secured with the lap and diagonal sections of the three-point belt. Here the lap belt should be
placed as low as possible so that the lap is correctly secured. The diagonal belt must not pass too close to the child's
neck or face. If necessary correct the belt's height adjustment in the vehicle to the size of the child. The correct attach-
ment/positions of the lap and diagonal belt are shown in the diagram. All belts must fit the child snugly and they must
not be twisted. The horns of the booster cushion are used to further secure the belt by passing the belt under them (see
diagram).
2.4. If you take the child's booster cushion with you without a child, secure it with a seatbelt anyway.
3. Care instructions/maintenance
3.1. The fabric cover may be removed and may be washed at 30°C with a mild detergent. It may not be tumble-dried, dried in
a dryer or ironed.
3.2. If the cover is damaged, the cover/child's booster cushion may no longer be used.
