Installation Instruction

Unpacking
All transit bolts and packing must be removed before using
the appliance. You are advised to keep all transit devices
so that they can be refi tted if the appliance ever has to be
transported again.
1. After removing all the packaging, carefully lay the appliance
on its back. Use a rug, blanket or piece of cardboard to
protect the fl oor.
2. Remove the polystyrene base from the bottom and the
shipping plug.
3. Carefully return the appliance to an upright position.
4. With a suitable spanner unscrew and remove the following
from the rear of the appliance:
• 4 shipping bolts
• 4 spacers
• 3 plastic "P" clamps

Remove:

4 shipping
bolts,
4 spacers

5. Remove the power supply cable, the draining hose and the
inlet hose from the hose clips on the rear of the appliance.
6. Remove the 4 plugs from the literature pack located in the
drum and install them in the holes vacated by the packag-
ing spacers.
Positioning
Install the appliance on a fl at hard fl oor. Make sure that air
circulation around the appliance is not impeded by carpets,
rugs etc. Check that the appli-
ance does not touch the wall
or other kitchen units. Level the
appliance by raising or lowering
the feet. The feet may be tight to
adjust as they incorporate a self
locking nut, but the appliance
MUST be level and stable. Any
necessary adjustment can be
made with a spanner.
Accurate levelling prevents vibration, noise and displacement
of the appliance during operation. Never place cardboard,
wood or similar materials under the appliance to compensate
for any unevenness in the fl oor.
If necessary, check the setting with a spirit level. Improper
installation could cause an increase of vibration and noise,
especially during spinning phases.
