INSTRUCTIONS
Plug into a suitable main socket and switch to the ON position.
The red power indicator light will illuminate to indicate the steampod is heating up.
Set to desired temperature. Allow the straightener to heat up approximately 30-60 seconds.
Brush the hair and separate into sections about 2 inches wide and place the section between the
plates as close to the scalp without touching the scalp. Hold plates firmly closed with hair section in
between sliding the steampod down and off the section of hair. DO NOTHOLD THE HAIR
BETWEEN THE CLAMPING PLATES FOR MORE THAN 2-S SECONDS. After one section is
straightened move to another section.
Upon completion turn the appliance switch to the off position, unplug the cord and allow the unit to
cool down completely before storing.

lt is important to read all the safety instructions before using your steampod.
Remember this is an electrical device and the clamping plates are intended to reach very high
temperatures, up to 450 . Keep this appliance out of the reach of children.

WARNING! To protect against electric shock, never allow the appliance, its cord or plug to
come in contact with water or any liquid. Do not use in bathtub or shower. Do not place near
sinks or baths or anywhere the unit may fall in liquid NEVER reach for any electrical appliance that
has fallen into water. Switch off power supply at the main breaker, then unplug. DO NOT attempt
to re-use steampod if it has been submerged in water. DO NOT handle with wet hands, make sure
that hands are dry before operating or adjusting any switch on the unit or touching the plug.
To avoid potential damage, never leave unattended while plugged in. Unplug after use. If
steampod is switched off, the electrical current still reaches the steampod. Use close supervision when
steampod is being used by, on or near children. Keep cord away from heated surfaces. Do not wrap
cord around steampod. When heated, DO NOT touch with bare skin or put down on bare surfaces.
Always inspect appliance before use. Pay particular attention to the condition of the cord and plug.
DO NOT use with a damaged cord or plug. DO NOT use if appliance has been dropped, left
outdoors submerged in water or if it is not working according to instructions.
WARNING! If any malfunction occurs, do not attempt to repair it. This appliance has no users
serviceable parts.
CLEANING
Before cleaning your styling steampod, always unplug the appliance from the power source and
allow it to completely cool down. We recommend wiping the appliance down using a damp, soft
cloth. DO NOT use harsh detergents, abrasives, solvents or chemical cleaners. NEVER immerse the
appliance in water to clean. For steampods with product build up, use only steampod formulated
cleaners. These non-toxic cleaners quickly and safely remove build up from most styling products.
STORING
When appliance is not in use, unplug it. Allow the unit to completely cool down before storing Store
in a dry location and away from children. DO NOT wrap the cord around the appliance.
Regularly check the appliance for damage. WARNING! If any malfunction does occur, do not
attempt to repair, The appliance has no user-serviceable parts.
