TOASTING BREAD

1.
Sit the toaster upright on a firm, level, heat-resistant surface.

Put the plug into the power socket. Four browning level lights will come on.
Use the buttons at either end of the browning level lights to lighten % or darken & the toast. The

more lights showing, the darker the toast.

Put bread into the toasting slots (maximum thickness 31mm).

Press the lever down fully. It won't lock down unless the toaster is connected to the electricity supply.

The browning level lights will count down:

When it's done, the toast will pop up.
EJECT
To stop toasting, press the $ button.
TONGS
Unplug the toaster before using the tongs.
Insert the tongs vertically, to avoid damaging the elements.
Use the tongs only to extract small items from the toasting slots of your Russell Hobbs toaster.
FROZEN BREAD
1.
Leave the browning control at your favoured setting, insert the frozen bread, lower the lever, then
press the f button.
The f light will come on, and the toasting time will be altered automatically to give the same degree

of browning you get with unfrozen bread.
REHEATING TOAST
1.
Leave the browning control at your favoured setting, insert the bread, lower the lever, then press the
m button.
The m light will come on, and the toast will be given a short burst of heat.
2.
Only reheat plain, "unbuttered" toast.
BUN WARMER
Don't use the bun warmer to warm frozen, buttered, coated, iced, or filled buns.
1.
Sit the bun warmer on top of the toaster, with the feet inside the slot.
2.
Sit the buns on top of the bun warmer.
3.
Set the browning level to 1, then lower the lever.
Remove the bun warmer before using the toaster normally.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

1.
Unplug the toaster and let it cool down.
2.
Grip the handle on the side of the inner glass panel, and slide it out of the guide.
3.
Wipe all surfaces with a clean damp cloth.
4.
You may wash the inner glass panel in the top rack of a dishwasher.
5.
When you replace the inner glass panel, the arrow E must face the front.
6.
Slide the inner glass panel fully into the guide.
7.
The appliance will not work unless the inner glass panel is fully inserted.
8.
Only the handle E should protrude.
9.
You may wash the tongs in the cutlery basket of a dishwasher.
