Remove the packing materials (such as tape
and protective film on the LCD) from outside the
printer.

the printer with your fingers and open the
scanning unit / cover.
b R emove the orange tape and discard it.

Close the scanning unit / cover.

b L ift the operation panel.

Do not connect a USB cable yet.
