- Page 6 Select a smooth surface in order not to scratch the parts. Turn the Star Base (F) upside down. Press the Casters (G) into holes at the end of each leg. Turn the Star Base (F) upright and insert Gas Lift (E) into the center hole of Star Base (F). Gas Lift Cover should be in place over Gas Lift.
- Page 7 Align Seat Plate (D) over pre-drilled holes on the underside of Seat Cushion (B) with black tension knob facing the front of the seat. Fix in place using two Bolts (H2) and two washers (I) at the front of Seat Cushion, two Bolts (H1) and two washers (I) at the rear of Seat Cushion as shown.
- Page 8 For easy assembly, place Seat Cushion (B) face down on a raised flat corner. Attach Armrests (C) to the Seat Cushion (B) by aligning them to the pre-drilled holes. Fix in place using four Bolts (H2). Don’t tighten the bolts until step 4 is finished. Be careful not to cross thread bolts or damage the seat.
- Page 9 Attach the Back Cushion (A) to the Armrests (C) with 4 Bolts (H2) using Allen Wrench(J). Do not tighten Bolts fully until you have completed assembly. - Page 10 Turn assembled seat upright and locate central hole of Seat Plate over Gas Lift. Push down firmly until connection is secure. - Page 11 Place the chair in upright position and tighten all bolts fully. Press the Plastic Caps (K) into the Arm Rest holes to cover bolts and sit down on Seat Cushion. Reach underneath the right side of chair and locate the handle. Lift the handle up slowly to allow the chair to rise to the desired height. - Page 14 TO OPERATE TILT LOCKOUT Reach underneath the right side of chair and locate the handle. Slide the handle all the way out (away from the seat). When the handle is in this position, leaning back will cause the chair to tilt backwards. To lock the chair in the upright or vertical position, sit upright and push the handle in (towards center of seat).

TO ADJUST TENSION OF THE TILT While seated, reach under the front center of the chair, grasp the round knob and turn counter-clockwise to make the tilt mechanism firmer (stiffer). To make the tilt mechanism less firm, turn the round knob clockwise until desired resistance is reached. - Page 16 Office Depot’s receipt retrieval department at (561)-438-7739.
