MyDP to VGA adapter

Intended use
The product is intended for connection to a compatible (see "Technical data") mobile
device equipped with a SlimPort/MyDP interface.
It serves for the transmission of the screen content, images and HD video signals from
your smartphone or tablet to a TV set or monitor with VGA input.
During transmission, your mobile device can charge via an additional micro USB2.0
port.
The power supply is provided via the SlimPort-/MyDP port (micro USB2.0 plug).
Carefully read the entire operating instructions which contain important information
about operation and use. Observe all safety instructions!

The following safety instructions and hazard warnings are intended not only
to protect your health but also to protect the device. Please read the follow-
ing points carefully:
• The product is only suitable for dry, enclosed indoor areas. Do not expose
the product to direct sunlight, heat, cold, humidity or moisture; otherwise
it may be damaged.

Getting started
• Connect the SlimPort/MyDP adapter to a free SlimPort connector of your smart-
phone or tablet.
• Connect the VGA output of the adapter with a free VGA port of your TV set or monitor
using a VGA cable.
• Select the proper input source on your TV set or monitor.
• Now, when you start e.g. video playback on your mobile device, the video will be
played on the connected TV set or monitor.
If HD media files are available and supported by your TV set, the images or video will
be displayed in HD quality.
• It is also possible to charge your smartphone or tablet, when it is connected with
the adapter. For this, connect the enclosed micro USB2.0 cable to the micro USB2.0
input of the SlimPort adapter and connect it with your USB charger.
Maintenance and cleaning
The product is maintenance-free. Maintenance or repair work may be performed only
by qualified personnel or a specialised repair shop. The product contains no parts that
require servicing. Therefore, do not open it.
To clean the outside of the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solutions, which may damage the casing or even impair operation.
Disposal
The product must not be disposed of in the household waste!
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the
current statutory requirements.
