- Die Kettensäge bis auf Anschlag
einsetzen, beide Stoppmuttern mit
Gabelschlüssel SW17 gleichmäßig gut
festziehen.
- Vor Beginn der Sägearbeit ist darauf
zu achten, dass der Halter so tief
als möglich im Gestell fi xiert ist. Der
Schnittbereich konzentriert sich dadurch
in der Schwertmitte.
- Bei Bedarf Anschlag zu Ablängvor-
richtung montieren.
- Der Oberfl ächenschutz (Verzinkung)
kann bei salzhaltiger Umgebung (im
Winter) beschädigt werden und Rost
bilden, deshalb wählen Sie einen
geeigneten Standort für die Lagerung
des Sägebocks.

Remarques importantes

lors de l'utilisation du
Goliath & Ranger
- Mettre en place la tronçonneuse en la
glissant jusqu'à l'arrêt, serrer les deux
écrous en même temps à l'aide d'une
clé à fourche SW17.
- Avant de commencer à scier, veiller à
ce que le porte-tronçonneuse soit fi xé
aussi bas que possible sur son support.
La zone de sciage est ainsi délimitée au
milieu du guide-chaîne.
- Si nécessaire, utiliser le guide de
sciage.
- Un environnement salin (en hiver)
risque d' e ndommager la protection
de surface (zingage) et d' e ntraîner de
la rouille. Choisissez donc un endroit
adapté pour ranger le chevalet.

Avvertenze per l'uso di

Goliath & Ranger
- Inserire la motosega fi no all'arresto,
usare una chiave SW17 per stringere
uniformemente i due dadi di bloccaggio.
- Prima di iniziare il lavoro verifi care che
il supporto sia fi ssato nella posizione
più bassa possibile nel telaio. Il settore
di taglio si concentra quindi nel centro
della lama.
- Se necessario montare un arresto per il
dispositivo per la lunghezza di taglio.
- La protezione superfi ciale (zincatura)
può danneggiarsi e sviluppare ruggine
(in inverno), perciò è opportuno
s e c g e i l e r u n u l o g o d i o n e o p r e
stoccaggio del cavalletto per segare.

Instructions for using the

Goliath & Ranger
- Apply the chainsaw through to the
stop, tighten both stop nuts with open-
end spanner SW17 equally well.
- Prior to the start of sawing work, take
care that the holder is fi xated as low as
possible in the frame. The cutting area
is thus concentrated in the centre of the
blade.
- If needed, mount an end stop to the
cutting device.
- The surface protection (galvanisation)
may be damaged or cause rust in a
saline environment (in the winter), thus
o l you need to select a suitable site to
store the saw horse.
