USING THE PH7208
To prevent false alarms the technology used waits for 5 command cycles (20 seconds)
before the siren is activated. After the siren has been activated it emits a piercing two-
tone signal for 4 minutes. After this the siren switches off automatically (or before this
if the alarm is deactivated).
CAUTION: When using Marmitek alarm systems these sirens always operate during an
alarm, regardless of whether the silent alarm function has or has not been switched on!

SIGNAL RANGE

The Marmitek X-10 System is based on power line communication. The range of the
Marmitek X-10 signals very much depends on the local circumstances. On average the
range is a cable length of 80 meters.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does the PH7208 also work during a power failure?
No, the PH7208 receives it power from the 230V mains. The communications from the
station to the PH7208 is also via the 230V wiring.
