3. TRIGGERING SPEED: The triggering speed is the speed level of the moving object or person detected by
the camera. Adjust the value from 1-15 to increase or decrease that speed. With a lower value even
slow moving objects or persons will trigger the alarm.
4. MOTION DETECTION: Enable or disable the MOTION DETECTION.
5. CAMERA BLIND DETECTION: If a camera is suddenly blinded (e.g. when a cover is placed over the
camera) then the alarm will be activated. Turn it off if the lights in the room are frequently switched off
to avoid false alarms.
6. DETECT TIME: the MOTION DETECTION FUNCTION will be enabled according to the implemented time.
Example. Enter "22:00 to 08:00" if you want the MOTION DETECTION to be activated from 10:00 pm
to 08:00 am.

8. Setting the Display

1. FONT COLOR: Select the font colour.
2. BORDER COLOR: Select the border colour.
3. BLANK CHANNEL COLOR: Select the background colour of a channel where no camera is connected.
4. OSD (ON SCREEN DISPLAY): This enables or disables all information to be displayed.

9. Reset Default

The processor will resume its factory settings by activating this default setting.
WARNING: All your custom settings will be lost!
10. Time Log
When the alarm is activated, time, date and status of each alarm incident will be recorded in the time log. The Time
Log enables you to inspect the last five alarm triggered events for each connected camera.
The status will be marked:
• MOTION: The alarm was activated by MOTION DETECTION.
• CBD: The alarm was triggered by CAMERA BLIND DETECTION.
11. Rec Trigger Level
Press the SET BUTTON (13) to confirm the editing and then press the TOGGLE SWITCH (14) to select HIGH or
LOW. Press the SET BUTTON (13) again to end the selection.
When the REC TRIG SOCKET (b) is connected to a VCR/DVR with external trigger facility, the VCR/DVR will record
when the motion detection is triggered or when pressing the REC BUTTON (7). Different VCR/CVR accept different
voltage levels for triggering the recording function. Some will use a high level (+5V) while others will use a low level
(0V). This selection will allow the user to program the correct voltage level for each VCR/DVR.
