Charging instructions

Read the instruction manual thoroughly before use. Keep the manual for future reference.
1. Insert 1–8 pcs NiMH batteries into 1 or 2 battery charger(s) according to the battery polarity (Fig. 1).
2. Place the battery charger(s) onto the charger dock (Fig. 2a & 2b).
3. Connect the micro USB end of the cable to the micro USB port of the charger dock (Fig. 3a).
4. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a smartphone wall charger (Fig. 3b) or similar USB port on a power
bank or USB car charger.
Charging will commence and the battery icons on the display will show the status of the batteries.

5. Once the batteries are fully charged (Battery icons constant green ), remove the charger(s) from the charger
dock. Remove the batteries from the charger(s) and disconnect the charger dock from the power supply.
When using 8-slot charger dock & 2 chargers for charging batteries, the required power source for normal
operation is 5V/2A. Once the 8-slot charger dock & 2 chargers are connected to a power source lower than
5V/2A, there will be insufficient power for charging. One of the chargers will probably be shut-down and stop
charging.
The 4 LEDs on the first detected (shut-down) charger will flash red & green alternatively and stop charging, and
the charger dock will change to stand-by mode (symbol (
be removed and re-inserted to the charger dock with 5V/2A power source to reset for normal operation.
Remark: Most computer USB ports may not reach to 5V/2A, which may cause the insufficient power condition
for charging batteries.
6. Replace the batteries if the aging icons ( ) is shown on the display for that particular channel.

For best performance and safety, always use GP NiMH batteries.

Usage tips

It is normal for batteries to become hot during charging and they will gradually cool down to room temperature
after fully charged.
Remove batteries from the electrical device if the device is not going to be used for a long time.
Battery storage temperature: -25 ~ +60°C
Charger dock operation temperature: 0 ~ +35°C

Safety information

This charger dock is designed to charge only NiMH batteries. Charging other batteries may lead to explosion,
battery rupture or leakage, personal injury or property damage.
This charger dock is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose the charger dock to rain, snow or direct
sunlight.
Do not use the charger dock in humid conditions.
Make sure the charger dock is used between 0 ~ +35°C.
To reduce the risk of injury, it is recommended that GP NiMH batteries are used.
Do not use non-rechargeable, LiFePO4, NiCD or Li-ion batteries.
Do not use the charger dock if it has a damaged plug.
Do not use the charger dock after it has been dropped or damaged. Do not open/disassemble the charger dock.
This charger dock is maintenance-free but should be wiped clean regularly with a dry and soft cloth. Do not
use abrasives or solvents. Unplug the charger dock before cleaning.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
