MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar with European facing to 94/20/EC A50-1
D 2 Side Plates
G 2 Bushes (56mm Long – 19mm O.D.)
H 2 Spreader Plate.
K 6 M14 x 40x 2.0 Bolts and Nyloc Nuts
L 2 M12 x 90 x 1.75 Bolts, Nyloc Nuts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (40mm O.D.)
M 4 M12 x 40 x 1.25 Bolts 10.9 grade, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (25mm O.D.)
N 1 ZEP35 Electrical plate (not shown)
CB 2 M16 x 50mm Coupling Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers
CP 1 Coupling Packer
FITTING
1. Remove bumper and loosen all the fixings securing the bumper arms to bumper. Insert Bushes (G) into chassis frame
at forward position and using Bolts (L) with flat washers loosely attach Sidearms (D) to chassis rails.
2. Splay bumper arms out either side of Side Plates (D) and refit Bumper using Bolts (M) position Main Cross Bar (A)
between side-arms (D) and secure using Bolts (K). (Fog lamp may require moving to give sufficient clearance for Cross
Bar (A).
3. Finally tighten all bolts.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
