The use in polluted water with solids and particles also leads to premature
wear and has a negative influence on the service life of the pump. Algae or other
plants that can surround themselves around the filter basket lead to reduced
water flow and increased wear. We recommend that you operate the unit exclu-
sively in water without plants, or to ensure that no plants can be sucked. Wear
parts are excluded from the warranty. Adequate cleaning and care will reduce
wear on the unit.
Repair
The power supply and the LED lighting are not capable of being repaired if the
cables or the housing are damaged and must therefore be replaced.
Storage
The device must be taken out of operation and dismantled if frost is expected.
Clean the device as described in Cleaning and Maintenance. The device can be
stored dry or wet. If the device is to be stored dry, it is important that all com-
ponents, including the inner engine parts, are completely dry. For wet storage,
place the cleaned aerator in a container filled with fresh tap water. Note that
the container is frost-free.
Disposal
The device must be disposed of in accordance with national legal regulations. Use
the provided return system. Make the device unusable by cutting the cables.
