OPERATION
STARTING AND STOPPING THE EDGER (See Figure 5.)
• Ensure a fully charged battery is installed into the edger.
• To start the edger, press and hold the safety lock button (1) and squeeze the trigger (2).
• To stop the edger, release trigger.
ADJUSTING DEPTH OF CUT (See Figure 6.)
• Remove the battery pack.
• Loosen the depth adjustment knob to increase or decrease the depth.
• Adjust the depth so that the blade barely touches the ground when the machine is held in a normal
operating posture.
• Tighten the depth adjustment knob.
• Standing in a normal working position, check the depth of cut again and correct if necessary.
• Replace the battery pack once all adjustments are complete.
