9. Operation mode
AWAX26XXL-EEX3 :
Choose the restart mode with the dip-switch at the back of the device.
The starting status must be as following: safety lines 13/14, 23/24, 33/34
opened and 41/42 closed. LED ON lights up, LED V1/V2 off.
Manual restarting mode (N) :
a) The system is resetted by a NO contact (PB) between C/V. When the
contact is closed as well as the lines T11/T12 and T21/T22, so the contacts
13/14, 23/24, 33/34 are closing, and line 41/42 is opening. The LED V1 and
V2 are lighting up.
b) The contact C/V must open otherwise there will be a failure detection at
the next restart of the cycle (safe mode and LED V1 lights up).
c) If the lines T11/T12 and T21/T22 are opening simultaneously, the lines
13/14, 23/24, 33/34 open as well and line 41/42 is closing. This corresponds
to their initial status and LED V1 and V2 are off. If only one line is opening
(ex:T11/T12), only the LED V1 is off, the safety contacts remain in their
starting status and the module is locked in this position : any action on the
C/V contact is unnecessary. Check the line T21/T22 in the exemple.
Automatic restart mode (SR) :
The PB is replaced by a simple wire.
Notice: the module will be automatically restarted as soon as the failure
has dispappeared.
This is not allowed in the access control applications.
Wenn powered, if the LED ON and V1 are lighting up, check that the switch
at the back of the device is on "SR" position.
C/V :
This is a test loop which check s that during the functionning of the ma-
chine, the contactors remain open, even in case of failure. So in this line
must be the restarting button and the contacts of the potential external
power contactors (motor). The external contactors must be conform to
EN50205.
10. EX Conditions
The maximal length of the multi-conductor cable which links the
AWAX26XXL-EEX3 to the EX safety switch in the EX area must be calcu-
lated by the installator. It depends of the cable technical features and the
datas provided in the table 8.
11. Standards conformity:
Atex: EN 50020
Machines: ISO 13849-1, EN1088, EN 292, EN 418, EN 60204-1
