Warnings:
• The laser light is very bright. Never point it at people or vehicles.
• Never look into the laser light.
• Never let children play with the laser designator unattended.
• Reflections from mirrors or other reflecting surfaces can cause the
same damage as looking directly into the laser light .
• Eye damage can result from pointing the laser beam at people using
binoculars, cameras, telescopes or other optical device.
• Never direct the laser beam next to people who might misunderstand
the light as an emergency signal, unless you are actually in an
emergency situation.
• Never remove the attached safety labels.
• Never attempt to disassemble the laser designator or to repair it.
• Send the device back to your dealer for repairs.
• Never use the device if the lens is broken or damaged.
• Repairs or maintenance must only be undertaken by professionals.
The potential danger of the laser designator is not greater than the
risk posed by a scanner at a supermarket checkout. Both are laser
class 2 m and are safe to use under the following conditions:
1) If the laser beam hits your eyes, the blink reflex is sufficient to avoid
eye damage. In this event, look away as quickly as possible.
2) Never look directly at laser light even through optical devices such as
binoculars or cameras etc.
The laser light does not damage the skin through direct irradiation
and is insufficient to ignite fires. The only risk posed is that of eye
damage resulting from directly looking into the beam.
