OPERATION
The numbers attached to the keys below correspond to the
diagram found on the inside cover.
TIME SETTING: Turn the time setting knob (5) to set the time. Wind
up the clock spring (4) by turning the winder in the direction of the
arrow (anti-clockwise) as far as you can. Please wind up the clock
spring (4) every day.
ALARM SETTING: Turn the alarm setting knob (2) in a clockwise
direction to position the alarm hand to the desired wake-up time. Wind
up the alarm spring (3) by turning the alarm winder in the direction
of the arrow (anti-clockwise). To activate the alarm, rotate the on/off
lever of the alarm (1) to release the striker. Please repeat these steps
every time you set the alarm.
SWITCHING THE ALARM OFF: Push the on/off lever of the alarm (1)
against the striker to prevent it from striking.
CLOCK SETTINGS: Even though this alarm clock has been set in
the factory, it may need to be set again following its transport journey.
If the clock is ahead of time, push the settings cursor (6) located in
the half-moon slot towards the « minus » (-); if it is late, push the
cursor towards the « plus » (+). Only a slight adjustment should be
necessary.
