This user manual contains all the information required for the correct use and care of DEGARDO
products STORUS LED RGB+CCT and STORUS ESL (ESL= Energy Saving Lamp), as well as the
non-illuminated versions of sizes I, II, III and IV. The notices and instructions in this user manual must be
carefully followed. Ensure you keep this user manual.

Intended use of the equipment

DEGARDO STORUS products are used as planters, seats and illuminated objects both indoors and

outdoors, especially for plants, with and without a planter insert. The products may be used outdoors
after drilling a drainage hole in accordance with the instructions.
Risk of injury from electrical shock
You are not permitted to make repairs to the electrical equipment! Repairs to the electrical equipment
may only be carried out by a specialist electrician.
Planting and initial set up
DEGARDO STORUS products may be sited indoors and outdoors and can be directly planted.

We recommend: filling with a 5-10 cm deep drainage layer (expanded clay, gravel, etc.) and covering
this with a layer of fleece before beginning planting. A drainage hole must be drilled before outdoor
use (see image B).

The planter and decorative inserts make it easy to change the planting or use of the product and allow
easy access to change a bulb. Inserts are available as accessories.

To allow excess rainwater to drain away, a drainage hole must be drilled in the base of the planting
space at the location marked with the arrow (max. ø 10 mm). When using a planter insert, at least one
drainage hole should also be drilled in the base of the planter insert (ø 10 mm). Position the planter on
a solid, even surface.
