BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Remove all packaging and check that the
appliance is in good condition.
Remove any labels and adhesives from the appliance.
Do not leave items such as plastic bags, polystyrene
or elastic bands within the reach of children. These
elements could be dangerous for them.
2. Wash all the accessories with a sponge soaked in
soapy water and then rinse with hot water before
drying them with a clean cloth. Never put the stone
plate in the dishwasher.
3. Place the appliance on a flat, stable and heat-
resistant surface.
4. Plug your appliance into an earthed socket.

APPLIANCE SET UP

Installation

1. Place the appliance on a flat, stable and heat-
resistant surface.
2. Select one of the 3 cooking plates.
3. Place the cooking plate on the metal support of the
appliance, making sure you centre it and that the
surface with the round grease-collecting groove is
facing upwards
4. Insert the mini pans into their respective places.
5. Unwind the power cord.

Raclette grill cooking mode

Place the grill plate on the appliance.
Unwind the power cord and connect the plug to a wall
outlet.
Turn the thermostat knob to MAX; the indicator light
switches on to red.
Let the appliance preheat for approximately 10
minutes: the indicator light switches off to indicate
the end of the preheating cycle.
Lightly grease the grill plate. To do this, use a small
culinary brush or a piece of kitchen paper that has
been slightly dampened with oil. Do not neglect this
greasing as it is very important for preventing food,
such as vegetables or fish, from sticking to the plate.
Place the food to be grilled on the grill plate.
Place the cheese (preferably raclette cheese) cut into
3 to 5 mm pieces in each mini pan. Insert the mini
pans in their respective places under the heating
element, making sure that the ingredients do not
touch the heating element.

5. Before using it for the first time, it is important to
heat the appliance in order to eliminate the fumes
and odours that are given off by a new appliance.
6. Place the grill plate and the pans on the appliance.
7. Turn the thermostat knob to maximum, the
indicator light will light up to indicate that the
appliance is on. Let the appliance run for 20 minutes.
8. Ventilate the room during this procedure.
9. When you have finished, switch off and unplug the
appliance. Clean the accessories.
NOTE: It is normal to notice a strange smell coming
from the unit when it is first used. This will stop after
a short while. Do not forget to ventilate the room
during this procedure.
The
temperature
surfaces may be high when the
appliance is in use. Never touch the
grill plate or the stone plate during
use, you may get burned. Only hold
the pans by their handles.
Never place frozen food on the
cooking plates as this may cause
thermal shock and damage the stone
plate or the grill plates.
In order to preserve the non-stick
coating of the plates and pans, we
recommend
utensils
