6. START UP AND OPERATING RECOMMENDATIONS
To ensure correction operation of the venturi injector
dechlorination kit, the opening of the Ø50 ¼ turn
valve must be adjusted:
1. Open the Ø50 ¼ turn valve fully.
2. Place the end of the Ø8x12 tube into a small
recipient filled with water (such as a glass of
water).
3.
Set the 6-way multi-port valve to back wash.
4.
Start the filtration pump.
5. Close the Ø50 ¼ turn valve slowly and gradually
until injection starts. When injection starts, air
bubbles will be seen moving through the flexible
Ø8x12 tube.
6. Monitor the flow for a few minutes to make sure

LIMITATIONS OF USE

Install the venturi injector head down to ensure
smooth injection.
ƒ
Install the container of Neutral at the same height,
or higher than, the venturi injector.
ƒ
Do not fully close the ¼ turn Ø50 valve during a
back wash. This could damage the pump.
ƒ
Neutral should be protected from light, heat and
cold.

Troubleshooting
If Neutral is not being injected:

Check that the ¼ turn valve is closed just enough
to allow injection of Neutral.
ƒ
Check that the vent in the cap of the container of
Neutral is not blocked.
