6.2 Cleaning and descaling

Every day
-
Clean your appliance after each use
-
Take away from the tank residue liquids
-
Only clean the extern parts with a damp cloth
-
Tap cleaning : pour the tank with warm water and open the tap to let the
water draw away
-
Tap can be dismantled to be cleaned with soap and water.
Every week
When you use your appliance every day, it's recommended to clean completely the tap
system once a week. For this, unscrew the tap handle; clean the tap and the link
between the tank and the tap. Clean the tap handle, and screw it on the right position.
Descaling
-
Poor fresh water in the tank to the mark for around 10 cups.

Add 4 to 5 spoons of descaling product

Turn the appliance on the On position
-
Let the water heating until the heating light turns green. Let your appliance on
this position for around 15mn.

Turn the appliance on the Off position and let it cool down.
-
Drain the water off with the tap and let the remaining water go off by leaning
your appliance.

Rinse with clear water to put off all descaling product remaining.
WARNING !
You must absolutely regularly descale your appliance. The frequency of the descale will
be determined by the using of the appliance and the hardener of the water.
If you do not respect this advice, your appliance would dysfunction. Regular descaling
of your appliance is the best guarantee of your appliance's long life.
No repairs to your appliance will be carried out due to:
Descaling not being carried out
Scaling
Don't forget to protect your eyes and hands during descaling and to wash your hand
after.
