Determine the location to place
this unit.
1 Disconnect the AC adaptor from the
electrical outlet.
2 Connect the AC adaptor of this unit to an
electrical outlet located between the
wireless broadband router and the ALL
wireless speaker you want to connect to.
3 Confirm that the indicator for the frequency
band of the network to which you have
connected in Step 2
) lights up. (It takes
(l 4
about 1 minute until the indicator lights up.)
4 Check the strengh of signal received from
the wireless broadband router.
While the POWER indicator and the 5 G or 2.4 G
indicator are lit up, press the [jLINK/-LEVEL]
button (for less than about 1 second).
Indicators should light up for about 2 seconds:
The LINK, LAN1, and LAN2
indicators light up
Wireless LAN signal strengh:
strong
The LAN1, and LAN2
indicators light up
Wireless LAN signal strengh:
normal
The LAN2 indicator lights up
Wireless LAN signal strengh:
weak
After the indicators light up for about 2 seconds,
the LINK, LAN1, and LAN2 indicators flash three
times.
≥ Move this unit to a location where two or three of
the indicators light up and place it there.
≥ If only one or none of the indicators light up,
move this unit a little closer to the wireless
broadband router. You can use a commercially-
available extension cord to change the location
of this unit.

Connect to the ALL
speaker.

Place the ALL

wireless speaker.
≥ After placing this unit, check that the ALL
speaker can be connected to the wireless LAN network.
≥ For information on how to connect to a wireless LAN
network and check the signal status on the ALL
wireless speaker, refer to the operating instructions for it.

≥ The ALL
wireless speaker may not connect to this
unit, but to the wireless broadband router. If this
happens, disable the standby mode setting of the
TM
ALL
wireless speaker. You may need to reset the
speaker, depending on the model.
≥ Match the frequency band of this unit with that of the
ALL
TM
wireless speaker.
≥ If a connection attempt fails, repeat the procedure
from Step 2. (l 4)

≥ Depending on the materials and number of walls
and other environmental factors, signals may be
blocked.
≥ Signals are particularly vulnerable to blockage if
there is any of the following obstacles between the

speaker and this unit:
metal object (reinforced concrete, furniture made
of metal materials, etc.), water, person, etc.

≥ Use of two or more wireless LAN range extenders
(this unit, wireless broadband router, etc.) will
extend the signal coverage of your wireless
TM
network, but this will cause audio to break up
frequently.
If you cannot connect to a network with the connection
method described above, you can connect this unit to
a computer to set up a connection.
