Advanced settings

If you wish to regularly change satellites and want the LNB head to be optimally positioned regardless of the
selected satellite, you will need to configure the antenna control module using the DiSEqC protocol.
To activate the DiSEqC protocol, you need to load a file via the USB port of the SSC HD V5 module. Contact Alden
technical support for more information: www.alden.fr
Depending on the satellite, the correspondence table below provides the DiSEqC number required by the SSC HD
V5 module.

Important:
If the satellite demodulator (or TV) connected to the SSC HD V5 has the DiSEqC protocol enabled, make sure that
the adjustments of the DiSEqC menu of the satellite demodulator (or TV) are in accordance with the table above.
Otherwise, it may happen that the LNB head is incorrectly positioned, leading to poor signal reception or even
making it impossible to find the satellite required.
NB:
Do not confuse the DiSEqC settings above with the DiSEqC Menu available on the user interface of the SSC module
