Installation instructions:
1.)
Disassemble the towing ring and the rear bumper.
Drill bore holes in the upper rear valence panel according to figure 1. Protect bare bodywork against

corrosion (anti-corrosive paint).
3.)
Attach the E kit to the vehicle before assembling the coupling ball with bracket.
4.)
Disassemble the rear end silencer. The rubber bearings have to remain on the vehicle. Ensure that the
rest of the exhaust system cannot fall down. Disassemble the heat shield and drill two bore holes in it
according to figure 2.
5.)
If necessary, recut the thread of the M12x1.25 nuts in the chassis beams with an M12x1.25 screw tap.
On the left-hand side of the vehicle, remove the rear fixture of the original wiring harness from the
vehicle frame.
6.)
Place base part 1 on the chassis beam and loosely attach it at the attachment points using the
M12x1.5x35 bolts and 13x24x2.5 washers.
On the left-hand side, attach the bracket 5 using the M12x1.25x50 bolts and 13x24x2.5 washers through
the inner attachment points of the base part 1 and to the chassis beam using the M12x1.25x35 bolt and
12.5x30x3 washer.
On the right-hand side, attach the bracket 6 using the M12x1.25x50 bolts and 13x24x2.5 washers
through the attachment points of the base part 1 using the M12x1.25x35 bolt and 12.5x30x3 washer
together with the towing ring.
7.)
Loosely attach the reinforcement bracket 3 (left) and 4 (right) to the base part 1 using the M12x35 bolts,
12.5x30x3 washers and M12 nuts.
Loosely attach the spacer sleeves 7 (left) and 8 (right) to the rear valence panel using the M12x130
bolts, 13x24x2.5 washers and M12 nuts.
8.)
Align the coupling ball with bracket and tighten all the nuts and bolts.

9.)
Reassemble the heat shield and the end silencer.
10.) On the left-hand side, attach the wire harness with cable ties to the coupling ball with bracket.
11.) Drill bore holes in the bumper according to figure 3. These bore holes have to be congruent with the bolt
heads in the rear valence panel.
12.) If necessary, retrofit underbody protection.
