• Protect yourself and other persons, ani-
mals, property, and the environment by
taking the necessary protective measures
and being trained in use of the devices to
prevent harm to your health, property
damage,
financial
harm or risk of accident.
• Be calm and focused and ensure proper
operation.
• Repairs may be carried out only by
Schneider Druckluft GmbH or its approved
service partners.
• Prohibited: manipulation, inappropriate
use, temporary repairs, use of other ener-
gy sources, removal or use of damaged
safety equipment, operating a leaking or
malfunctioning system, use of non-original
spare parts, exceeding the permitted
working pressure specified (max. + 10%),
working without protective equipment,
transporting / maintaining / repairing or
leaving a pressurised machine unattended,
using other / unsuitable lubricants, smok-
ing, naked flames, removing stickers.
• Prohibited: Using other tools; touching
rotating parts.
• Prohibited: Uncontrolled tightening of
screws/nuts or unscrewing/tightening with
excessive force, the use of chrome-plated
/ faulty socket spanners

Commissioning

Before start-up:
1. Observe technical data, figures, item
numbers, intended use and safety in-
structions
(see Instruction manual, Part 1, Chap-
ter: "Technical data" and the "Intend-
ed use" chapter).
2. Carry out a visual inspection.
3. Do not use below 5° C.
4. If supplied separately: attach plug nip-
ples (item 01).
5. Insert socket spanner via retaining ring
(item 06) or retaining ball (item 07) as
far as the stop on the drive shaft
(item 05).
6. Check that the socket spanner is seated
securely on the drive shaft (item 05).
Compressed air connection:
1. Install an upstream maintenance unit
with filter pressure reducer and mist oil-
er.
2. Press the quick-action coupling of the air
hose onto the plug nipple (item 01)
(Figure 1a).
Operation:
1. Set the required direction of rotation
(item 04) as shown in Fig. 2a.
2. Place the impact wrench / ratchet screw-
driver with socket spanner on the screw
/ nut.
3. Press the trigger lever (item 02).
4. Adjust the torque via the air regulation
(item 03) shown in Fig. 3a.
After use:
1. Disconnect the quick-action coupling
from
the
plug
(Figure 1b).
2. Remove the socket spanner.
3. Clean and store the device in dry condi-
tion
