3.2 OPERATION
When first used, lubricate the blades by applying a drop of oil to the points shown
(Fig. 4b).
Switching on/off
◼ Switch the clippers on (On/Off button set to 1 (Fig. 1-B)).
◼ To switch the clippers off, set the On/Off button to 0 (Fig. 1-B).
Autonomy
◼ With a new, fully charged battery, the clippers can be used for about 50 minutes.
◼ Charge the clippers when the motor speed starts to fall (refer to § 3.1).
3.3 USING THE COMB ATTACHMENT
◼ The clippers must be switched off. Put the comb attachment on the blades (Fig. 3a).
◼ Slide the comb attachment up or down on the blades: 4 slots (Fig. 3b). This varies the
cutting height between 3 and 6 mm.
◼ To remove the comb attachment from the blades, release the clip and slide it towards
the front of the blades (Fig. 3c).
3.4 LUBRICATING THE BLADES
After 30 minutes of use, it is recommended to lubricate the blades.
◼ Switch the clippers off.
◼ Remove the blades (Fig. 4a) using the spanner stored under the charger base (Fig. 1-G).
◼ Apply 1 drop of lubricating oil to the 4 points shown (Fig. 4b).
Use only the oil supplied.
◼ Refit the blades (Fig. 4c). Put the spanner back in its housing under the power pack
(Fig. 1-G).
Switch the clippers on for a few seconds after lubricating them.
