6.2
Using the cooler
A
NOTICE! Risk of damage
 Ensure that the objects or goods placed in the cooler are
suitable for cooling or heating to the selected temperature.
 Ensure that food or liquids in glass containers are not exces-
sively refrigerated. Liquids expand when they freeze and can
therefore destroy glass containers.
 Ensure that your cooler is well ventilated so that any heat cre-
ated can dissipate. Otherwise proper functioning cannot be
ensured. It is especially important not to cover the air vents.
 Risk of spillage. Lift the cooler by the handle, not by the
shoulder strap.
I
NOTE
If the handle is folded back or if the cooler is being carried, the lid
is locked. You can only open the lid when the handle is folded for-
wards.
➤ Place the cooler on a firm base.
➤ Connect the cooler to the power supply:
– With the 12 V connection cable (fig. 2 1, page 3) into the cigarette
lighter socket or a 12 V socket in the vehicle.
– With the M50U voltage monitor into the cigarette lighter or a 12 V
socket in the vehicle.
– With the 220–240 V connection cable (fig. 2 2, page 3) into an
AC socket or into the 220–240 V AC mains.
I
NOTE
