REPLACING THE FUSE

Before replacing the fuse, turn the fan off. Grasp the plug and remove it from the outlet
device. Do not unplug the fan by pulling on the cord. With the fan unplugged, follow
the steps in this diagram:
A.
A
Open the fuse cover by sliding the access cover on top of the attachment plug to-
wards the plug blades.
B
Remove the fuse carefully by gently pulling out the ends of the fuse from the recep-
tacle. Replace the fuse only with 5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse.
C
Install the replacement fuse by first placing the end of the fuse into the fuse recep-
tacle, which is opposite the blades of the plug, then carefully push in the other end.
Only push against the metal end of the fuse, not the glass portion.
D
Close the fuse cover by sliding the cover back into the plug until it latches in place.
Ensure it is completely closed.
Risk of fire: Replace the fuse only with 5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse. Do not re-
place the plug that comes with your fan. It contains a safety device (the fuse)
that should not be removed. Do not use this product if the plug is damaged.

TIPS AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

For storage, you may leave the fan assembled and covered to protect it from dust. Store
the fan in a cool, dry place.
If the fan is not running properly:
If your fan is plugged into a known, working outlet and the fuse is not the problem, you
may need to return the product or have it serviced. Please return the fan to the place of
the original purchase or see your warranty. Do not attempt to open the motor housing
yourself. Doing so may void your warranty and cause damage to the fan or personal
injury.
