Operation

• Insert the light shaper with the three Bowens pins [C] into the corresponding
recesses on the LED continuous light and lock it by turning it briefly to the right
until it audibly clicks into place .
• To remove the light shaper, pull the release key [A] backwards, turn the light
shaper to the left and pull it forward .
• For power from the mains, connect the power cord to the Power Cord Con-
nector [5] .
• To turn on the power, set the AC/DC Switch [4] to "
on and the AC Indicator [19] appears on the display .
• For power from the battery, insert the separately available batteries into the
battery compartment [1] (see page 19) .
• Then set the AC/DC Switch [4] to "
[2] will turn on and the Battery Status Indicator [18] will appear on the display .
• Select the various functions of the unit (see page 24) .
• To switch off, set the AC/DC switch [4] to the „OFF" (O) position, the display
[2] will switch off . Please let the unit cool down before packing it for transport
or storage . If necessary, remove the light shaper or umbrella, disconnect the LED
continuous light from the mains supply and replace the protective cap .
2. Notes on the remote control
For remote control by radio via the integrated radio receiver (2 .4 GHz) of the
LED continuous light, you need the compatible, separately available Rollei Pro-
fessional Flash Trigger Mark II .
