6.1- General product maintenance
Clean plastic parts with a soft clean cloth.
Do not use aggressive cleansers (solvents or abrasive cleansers), abrasive sponge or sharp objects.
Do not put or immerse product in water or any other liquid.
Keep all safety devices, vents and engine housing free of dirt and dust as much as possible.

Wipe the equipment with a clean cloth or blow it with low-pressure compressed air.
We recommend that you clean the unit immediately and after each use.

Clean the equipment regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use cleaning agents or

solvents; these could attack the plastic parts of the equipment. Make sure no water can seep into
the unit.
6.1.1- Air filter
Clean the air filter at regular intervals and replace if necessary.

Open both clips at the back of the generator (Fig. 17) and remove the air filter cover.

Remove the foam filter.
3.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or gasoline to clean items.

Clean items by tapping them on a flat surface. Then clean with soapy water then rinse

thoroughly with clear water and allow to dry.
Reassemble the air filter by following the above steps in the opposite order.

6.1.2- Spark plug
Check the spark plug for the first time after 20 hours of operation. Clean it with a copper brush if
necessary. Then carry out maintenance of the spark plug every 50 hours of operation.
1. Remove the spark plug lug.
2. Remove the spark plug using the supplied spark plug wrench (Fig.18).
Replace the spark plug by following the above steps in the opposite order.

6.1.3- Draining and checking the oil level (before each use)
The draining of engine oil must be done when the engine is at operating temperature.
