■ After each use, whenever the appliance is unsupervised, prior to
assembly, prior to disassembly, prior to cleaning and in the event
of an error, the appliance must always be disconnected from the
mains.
■ Before replacing accessories or additional parts which move
during operation, the appliance must be switched off and dis-
connected from the power supply.
■ Never manually move the pressing cone / drive shaft.

Preparation
■ Clean the individual components before
using for the first time.
■ Unwind the cord.
■ Place the appliance on a smooth, clean
surface.
Assemble the appliance X Fig. 1:
■ Place the container on the motor unit
and rotate in a clockwise direction until it
locks into position.
■ Insert the strainer basket and rotate
gently until it is situated fully on the
container.
■ Attach the pressing cone.
Pressing fruit
■ Press halved citrus fruit onto the
pressing cone and hold fruit in position.
The citrus press starts running
when the fruit is pressed onto the
pressing cone X Fig. 2.
Note: The pressing cone may rotate in a
clockwise or anti-clockwise direction. The
direction of rotation may change while the
fruit is being pressed.
If excessive pressure is applied, the
pressing cone stops. Reduce the pressure
until the pressing cone restarts.
