dealer. Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into service.
The VDPDMXC173 features:
• 96 DMX channels
• 6 Scanners of 16 channels each
• 60 Built-in patterns & 30 variable programs with 99 steps at most.
• 8 Sliders for manual control of channels 1-8
• 8 Latch buttons for manual control of channels 9-16
• file dump allows data to be sent or received between two units
• auto mode program controlled by speed and fade time sliders
• fade time/assign fade time
• reversible DMX channels allows fixture to react in opposition to others in a chase
• 8 CHANNEL or 16 CHANNEL mode
• manual override button allows you to grab any fixture on the fly

2. Safety Instructions
Be very careful during the installation: touching live wires can cause life-threatening electroshocks.

against damage by leaving it switched off until it has reached room temperature.
• This device falls under protection class I. It is therefore essential that the device be earthed. Have a qualified
person carry out the electric connection.
• Make sure that the available voltage does not exceed the voltage stated in the specifications of this manual.
• Do not crimp the power cord and protect it against damage. Have an authorised dealer replace it if necessary.
• Disconnect the device from the mains to clean it or when it is not in use. Handle the power cord by the plug only.
